14' 6'' long by 33inch wide
24 kg on average, can be comfortably lifted by 1 or 2 people.
3.5 days. This canoe is made up of 7 planks, the more planks you have the more work there is as every join needs gluing, filing and sanding. and most people are done by 12 noon on the last day, and ready to go for a paddle, painting can be done at a later date, on on the build if time allows.
This is a tandem canoe (to be paddled by 2 people) with a shallow arched hull (for stability and strength), and a slight rocker (for ease of turning.) It would be capable of extended canoe trips with a good amount of kit.
She is quiet and responsive and sits on an edge very well for solo paddling.
The Lakelander is designed for both flat water paddling, and slow moving rivers. Like with all wooden canoes and boats, it's best to avoid meeting rocks.. yes, we learned this the hard way! It will also perform well on calm seas.

This is a heavy load carrying canoe. Performs well for cruising and tripping. She is designed for stability and load carrying, and is very comfy.
3-4 days.. very simple construction and a beautiful canoe for little effort. Plenty of painting and design time.
