Due to recent interest, we are currently producing our own version of the infamous Baker tent, popularised by Bill Mason.

This shelter has evolved through our own experiences of using various different tarp designs in the worst of British weather, and is a smaller version of the one in current use on our main expeds.

Designed to be used in conjunction with a camp-fire, the tarp can be erected between 2 trees but can also be rigged between two A-frames to make a free standing shelter.

Sleeps 4 in great comfort, and 6 at a push.

Features include.. Back wall, side panels, combination front door / awning, central canoe pole sleeve, high-vis peg loops, axe and saw pockets, stuff sac and standing room for several 6 footers!

The material is fully waterproof. The load bearing seams are triple folded and zig-zag stitched, it is up to you whether or not you choose to seal the main seams, although in 3 years of extensive use, we have not found this necessary - longitudal seams are far superior to horizontal.
