A unique course designed for those with little
or no experience of Canadian Canoeing. Set over three days
at a relaxed pace, you will learn the fundamentals of the
versatile open canoe. The Lakelander covers all the skills
of canoe journeying and will open up a new realm of wilderness
travel...from canoe handling, to cooking over an open fire,
sleeping under the stars or sailing on one of Lake Dristric's
most beautiful lake's (Derwent water). This course will give
you the skills and the confidence to set out on a canoe adventure
of your own.
